Let's Green it
WGT has taken the skills and experience it has gained from managing
the Millennium Green and applied them to other green spaces in
Waterloo. WGT works in partnership with other organisations to
improve these spaces by ensuring green space management is
co-ordinated, involves local communities and is effective. This
work includes co-ordinating the Waterloo Open Space Partnership;
managing specific open space projects such as work on Hatfields Gardens
and Ufford Street Recreation Ground; supporting the establishment of
Friends Groups; the renewal of green spaces on social housing estates
and schools and the creation and maintenance of community gardens.
